1975 14th WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE
At the head of Lake Mjosa, near Lillehammer, Norway, 1975. the 14th World Scout Jamboree mustered 17,259 campers from 91 countries. The Jamboree was popularly named "Nordjamb 75". Its theme was "Five Fingers, one Hand", typifying the five joint Nordic hosts and the five Scouts Regions in one Brotherhood.
There was hiking in the mountains in international patrols. There were also activity areas, a Nordic trail, a superb choir, visits to the Maihaugen cultural museum, and all the fun of the Saturday Jamboree Country Fair. The King of Norway opened the Jamboree. The Jamboree was also visited by H.M. the King of Sweden and H.R.H. the Crown Prince of Morocco.
